What is Positive Peers?

Positive Peers is a student-led mental wellness support group that meets twice a week to discuss topics related to mental wellness. Student facilitators are chosen through an application process and trained by long-term members of the Positive Peers student executive board.

Who can attend your meetings?

Any Truman student is welcome to join our meetings! We have 2 meetings each week where we discuss our chosen topic. You can come to just one or both!

Do I have to sign up for or join Positive Peers to attend meetings?

Positive Peers maintains confidentiality so the only information we require from students is that they sign a waiver before their first meeting ensuring that they understand the guidelines that we have set for our community.
